University of South Florida (Tampa, St. Pete, and Sarasota)  - 43,542 students

-        Recently became the third preeminent research university in Florida (joining FSU and UF)

-       Sarasota campus has ~ 2,000 students

New College of Florida (Sarasota) – 859 students

-       Located on Sarasota Bay

Florida Gulf Coast University (Ft Myers) – 14,916 students

-       All students take an environmental sustainability course

-       Offer a PGA Golf Management program

Florida International University (Miami) – 56,718 students

-       88% of students identify as non-white

-       offer a degree in the “Internet of Things” – picture your toaster communicating with your oven

Florida Atlantic University (Boca) – 30,203 students

-       has a College of Design and Social Inquiry

-       one Honors program  is a separate campus in Jupiter, FL

Florida Polytechnic University (Lakeland) – 1,500 students

-       100% STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) school

-       newest SUS school; graduated first class last year

Florida State University (Tallahassee) – 41,900 students

-      owns four international study centers – London, Valencia, Spain; Panama, and Florence, Italy

 -      Center for Academic Retention and Enhancement focuses on students who are among the first in their family to attend college

University of Central Florida (Orlando) – 67,500 students

-       campus is actually in Oviedo; downtown Orlando campus opening in 2019

-       44% of student graduate with no debt

Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (Tallahassee) – 9,909 students

-       US News and World Report named FAMU the number one public Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in America

-       FAMU law school is in Orlando; they offer a 3 (Tallahassee) + 3 (Orlando) program

University of West Florida (Pensacola) – 13,000 students  

-       Only SUS school in the Central Time Zone; 20 minutes from the beach

-       Offer a degree in Cybersecurity

University of Florida (Gainesville) – 52,669 students

-       Admitted 300 freshman into Innovation Academy (Spring, Summer program) and 500 freshmen into PACE (Pathway to Campus Enrollment online program)

-       College of Engineering and College of Design, Construction, and Planning offer 2+2 programs that start at Santa Fe College
